WBPDWMWA was established in the year 2012 with only a few dedicated members. At that time, I could never have imagined that this foundation would grow into such a strong and respected association. Today, its remarkable progress is possible only because of the unwavering support, trust, and active participation of our respected members, stakeholders, and well-wishers. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you.
I sincerely thank and congratulate all members for entrusting me with the responsibility of serving as the President of WBPDWMWA for the coming two years. I have been associated with the packaged drinking water industry for nearly 30 years, and I assure you that I will dedicate my entire experience, commitment, and energy toward the growth and strengthening of our association.
As President, I earnestly urge all members to remain united, actively participate in association initiatives, and share constructive ideas for the collective progress of WBPDWMWA. Together, we can further strengthen our organization, safeguard our rights, and build a sustainable, disciplined, and respected future for the packaged drinking water industry in West Bengal and beyond.

WBPDWMWA was established with the vision of uniting packaged drinking water manufacturers under one strong, ethical, and progressive platform. Our association works tirelessly to safeguard the interests of small and medium manufacturers, promote fair trade practices, enhance regulatory awareness, and encourage sustainable growth within the industry.
In recent years, our industry has faced multiple challenges—including rising production costs, regulatory complexities, unfair price competition, and market imbalances. WBPDWMWA firmly believes that unity, transparency, and collective action are the strongest tools to overcome these challenges. Through continuous dialogue with government authorities, legal advocacy, and active member participation, we strive to create a fair, stable, and dignified business environment for all.
This official website has been developed as a transparent digital platform to keep our members informed about association activities, official notices, policy updates, meetings, and future initiatives. It reflects our commitment to professionalism, accountability, and modern communication.
As Secretary, I sincerely request all members to actively participate in association activities, share constructive suggestions, and uphold the core values of WBPDWMWA. MELBHANDAN, our flagship annual event, has become a landmark initiative of WBPDWMWA. Vendors from all parts of India participate in this fair to showcase the latest technologies and innovations related to the PDW industry. Each year, MELBHANDAN continues to grow remarkably, and in the coming years, it will undoubtedly create a historic milestone in the packaged drinking water industry.
Finally, I assure all members that WBPDWMWA is committed to breaking all past records as an association in the PDW industry in India. With unity and determination, we aim to emerge as one of the strongest and most respected industry associations in every aspect.

The primary duty of the Treasurer of any association is to ensure proper management, transparency, and accountability of financial matters. As Treasurer of WBPDWMWA, I firmly believe that financial transparency is the foundation of trust and sustainable growth.
All association accounts will be maintained with complete clarity, and any member may view or review the accounts at any time. Every financial activity—including income, expenditure, and fund utilization—will be regularly communicated through our official WhatsApp groups and other authorized platforms.
Transparency strengthens confidence, ensures accountability, and promotes unity among members. With openness and collective responsibility, we will build a financially disciplined, credible, and trustworthy WBPDWMWA.
